The logo made its debut on the goalkeeper kit during last night’s pre-season match against Portishead Town, and will also feature on both the new men’s home and away kits, which are set to launch in the coming weeks.

It’s another example of the club’s commitment to supporting women and girls both playing and watching football at Weston-super-Mare AFC.

Caz May, CEO at Her Game Too, said:

“It’s incredible to see my local club, Weston-super-Mare AFC, being the very first men’s team ever to have Her Game Too displayed on their shirts. I founded this organisation in 2021 with a long term ambition to create a world where women are respected and supported in football – so to already have this level of support so soon into the campaign feels like a dream come true.

“A special thank you goes to Ed Bliss & Alex Crowther at Weston-super-Mare AFC who came forward with the idea.

“The whole team at Her Game Too are grateful to Weston-super-Mare AFC for their ongoing support and we can’t wait to see the kits in action!”

This initiative is part of a wider effort to grow the women’s game at Weston, with the Girls Academy continuing to expand. A new Under-12s side will be launched for the 2025/26 season, joining the existing U14s and U16s in the Junior Premier League. The U18s will continue to compete in the Bristol Girls U18s League.

Ed Bliss, Vice Chairman at Weston-super-Mare AFC, said:

“We are very much looking forward to our partnership with Her Game Too. As a club we are fully committed to pushing women’s football forward, both on and off the pitch, and we feel that this opportunity to support Caz and her incredible journey is the perfect way to continue this.

“We will be supporting Her Game Too throughout the entire season so for all involved at the club keep an eye out for future events and come and support as best you can.

“Her Game Too has taken position on the tail of the first team shirts, a new free charity space on the shirts that the club are making available for future seasons.”
