FA Cup Fourth Qualifying Round Sat 11 October The Optima Stadium
Weston-super-Mare

Needham Market

1-0

Weston are in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup for the fourth season in a row, and will be dreaming of reaching the First Round Proper for the second season running, which would be a first for Weston should they qualify.

It is also the second time in two seasons that Weston have played a Suffolk side in the Fourth Qualifying Round, having won 3-1 at Lowestoft Town last year.

The Seagulls have made it into the First Round three times since 2014, playing established Football League sides in Doncaster Rovers, Wrexham (although they were still non-league at the time) and Bristol Rovers along the way.

However, Needham Market stand in The Seagulls’ way, and they will be equally determined to make it into the hat for Monday night’s draw.

The Suffolk side play in Southern League Premier Central Division, having been relegated from National League North last season.

Like Weston, The Marketmen are also in the Fourth Qualifying Round for the fourth time in a row, showing that they too have a good record in the FA Cup.

Cup fever really gripped The Seagulls last season, in what was a memorable cup campaign for everybody connected with Weston. Let’s hope for another great encounter at the Optima this Saturday, as we look to get back to winning ways.

*If the match is tied after 90 minutes, a replay will take place at Needham Market on Tuesday, 14th October (7:45pm ko)*

Parking Information

We have a fair-sized car park at the stadium, with a limited amount of matchday parking available for Blue Badge holders. If a Blue Badge space is required, we recommend arriving as early as possible to secure a spot.

Once the stadium car park is full on matchday, all supporters are asked to park responsibly in the two nearby industrial estates, which are just a 5–10-minute walk from the Optima Stadium. Please do not park in the housing estate opposite the club, as this can cause issues for local residents.

Please note that we are only able to accommodate the official away team coach within the Optima Stadium.

Programmes

We have now moved to 100% digital programmes, which are available free of charge to all supporters.

They can be found HERE, and QR codes can be scanned at the turnstiles and Season Ticket Holders’ entrance.
