Britton’s got an award

We are delighted to announce that Louis Britton has officially won the August Player of The Month award for the Enterprise National League South.

During the opening month of the campaign, our No.9 scored three goals and was named in the Enterprise National League South Team of the Week once as the Seagulls won four and drew one of the opening six matches.

Louis is the first Weston player to be recognised for a monthly National League award since former captain Dayle Grubb, who won back in April 2017.

On winning the award, Louis said:

It’s an amazing achievement for me.

I’d like to make this a collective award because without my team-mates, the staff and the fans, it wouldn’t have been possible.

I’m over the moon to get this award, and hopefully there’s more to come”.
