Hi Sarah, a great win to kick off pre-season – what is your assessment of the performance today?

It was a great effort from everyone today. It gave us an opportunity to experiment with new players in new positions so was a really useful game to start our preseason schedule.

New signing, Alex Gwyther, netted a hat-trick this afternoon – how important will she be to the squad this season?

Alex played in two different positions this afternoon and was really impactful in both. She linked up really well with the squad.

A few under 18s were on display – how vital is it that we have our player pathway in place?

It was great to be able to give them their first exposure of senior football. They were all outstanding. It’s vital that girls get these opportunities to be able to bridge the gap between senior and youth football
