Weston had to settle for a point after Enfield Town scored a stoppage-time equaliser at the Optima Stadium.
Following Tuesday’s 0-0 draw at Hampton & Richmond, The Seagulls made two changes as Keiran Thomas and Luke Coulson were named in the starting eleven.
Weston started well and looked dangerous, and their promising early start was rewarded in the thirteenth minute when Sam Pearson’s superb cross from the right flank was headed home by Reuben Reid at the back post from close-range.

Moments later, Reid tried his luck from the edge of the area but his shot was eventually dealt with by Rhys Forster, before the visiting goalkeeper did well to keep out James Dodd’s well-struck shot, with the rebound being fired just over by the busy Pearson.
Enfield midfielder Billy Leonard saw his cross-shot from the right hit the top of the crossbar, before he was again denied when Max Harris saved well from the former Harrow man by pushing the ball around the post from a goalbound effort.
HALF-TIME: Weston-super-Mare AFC 1-0 Enfield Town
Weston had enjoyed most of the play in the first-half, and that continued after the interval.
A long, pinpoint kick forward from Harris found Reid, who outmuscled a couple of Enfield defenders before firing just over, and Reid was denied again by Forster after being set up brilliantly once more by Pearson.

Reid then showed his defensive qualities when he headed off the line following an Enfield attack.
Back at the other end, home debutant Harvey Greenslade had a great opportunity to score. After doing ever so well to get past the last Enfield defender, Greenslade took the ball around Forster but saw his shot go agonisingly wide.
A Luke Coulson free-kick was headed goalwards by substitute Dylan Kadji but Forster claimed, then Greenslade hit the outside of the post after being set up by Kadji.
As the game moved into injury-time, Enfield were awarded a free-kick on the right flank. The ball was swung in and met by Henry Hawkins, whose header ended up earning a point for the visitors.
