A familiar face at The Optima, Scott spent the 2015 – 2016 campaign in BS24 after joining from Paulton Rovers, scoring 24 goals and assisting two in 41 games for the Seagulls, then managed by Ryan Northmore.

Since his year at the club, the 32-year-old has gone on to represent Eastleigh, Macclesfield Town, Oldham Athletic, Notts County, Dagenham & Redbridge, Aldershot Town and parent club Bath City.

Before his time at The Optima, Scott spent time in the Bristol City Academy before spells with Gloucester City, Cinderford Town, Yate Town, a first spell with Bath City and one campaign with Paulton.

The forward has netted 69 goals in 210 games at National League North/South level, while he has scored 20 in 104 games at National League level and bagged 12 goals in 54 games at League Two level for Macclesfield.

Scott has achieved promotion from the National League once with Macclesfield, winning the title in 2018.

On securing Scott’s signature, Manager Scott Rogers said:

Scott’s a player I have known and followed for a long time as I’m sure many of our supporters have who can remember his successful time here previously.

“Football’s all about timing and I believe this move will come at a great time for Scott to kick-start his season.

“I believe he will be a great foil for Louis (Britton) who has led the line admirably on his own for large parts of the season and I’m sure the two of them can form a partnership to push eachother and produce some big performances.

“A big thank you to Bath and Darren Way for allowing this loan move to happen.

Scott Wilson will wear the No.11 shirt during his time at The Optima.

If you would like to sponsor Scott, please email enquiries@wsmafc.co.uk.

Everyone at the club would like to welcome Scott back, and we wish him all the best when pulling our shirt on again.
