Scott Rogers’ side will look to make it two consecutive wins following Tuesday night’s dramatic 2-1 home victory over Bath City in the Somerset derby at the Optima Stadium.

Louis Britton gave The Seagulls the lead after great work from Liam Sercombe and Man of the Match, Michael Smith. Then, after The Romans equalised late in the game, Weston demonstrated their determination to claim all three points when Britton found the back of the net from close range from Luke Coulson’s wicked inswinging corner in the 92nd minute, the second time in four league games that Britton has scored an injury-time winner.

Horsham were also in midweek action and they also won 2-1 after their fantastic victory at Ebbsfleet United, a great result considering they were two leagues apart last season. A Lucas Rodrigues brace was enough for The Hornets as they continue their excellent start to the campaign, and they are currently fourth in the National League South table.

Horsham were Isthmian Premier League champions last season after a remarkable final day of the league campaign. The Hornets were behind leaders Billericay on goal difference, but a huge final-day victory saw the West Sussex side crowned as champions.

This success saw The Hornets reach Step 2 for the first time ever, therefore this is the first-ever meeting between the two sides as The Seagulls and The Hornets have always avoided each other in cup draws.
