It’s the third consecutive Saturday on home turf for Scott Bartlett’s side, who are currently third in the table after winning their last three games.
The latest success came at Cherrywood Road on Bank Holiday Monday against Farnborough in a 3-1 victory. Luke Skinner broke the deadlock with his wonderful goal, before Louis Britton headed home his second goal of the season. Luke Coulson then put the game to bed with his penalty in injury-time, after Man of the Match Jake Hicks was brought down in the area.
The Seagulls face a Daggers side who also won in their previous outing, a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hemel Hempstead at Victoria Road. First-half goals from Dermi Lusala and Kayden Harrack were enough to earn Lee Bradbury’s side all three points, their first win since relegation from the National League last season.
It’s been a well-documented summer of change at the Essex club with The Daggers being taken over by overseas investors, plus the shock signing of former Liverpool, Newcastle United and England striker, Andy Carroll.
So far, the big Geordie has been ruled out of the league campaign through injury, and it remains to be seen if he’ll make his competitive Daggers’ debut at the Optima Stadium.
Talking of firsts, Saturday’s meeting is the first-ever fixture to be played between Weston and Dagenham & Redbridge, in what should be another great occasion here in BS24 as The Seagulls look to continue with their fine form.

Parking Information
We have a fair-sized car park at the stadium, with a limited amount of matchday parking available for Blue Badge holders. If a Blue Badge space is required, we recommend arriving as early as possible to secure a spot.
Season ticket holders can park for free in the Season Ticket Holders’ Car Park behind the main stand by showing their season ticket or car parking pass at the main car park entrance.
Once the stadium car park is full on matchday, all supporters are asked to park responsibly in the two nearby industrial estates, which are just a 5–10-minute walk from the Optima Stadium. Please do not park in the housing estate opposite the club, as this can cause issues for local residents.
Please note that we are only able to accommodate the official away team coach within the Optima Stadium.
