The Seagulls head to Hampshire on the back of eleven games unbeaten in National League South and the FA Cup, and last Saturday interim manager Scott Rogers won his first game in charge following their 2-0 success at Poole Town.

Luke Coulson and Callum Wood were on target in that FA Cup Third Qualifying Round tie, to set up next Saturday’s game with Needham Market.

Although this Saturday’s meeting is the first-ever league fixture, The Seagulls have played Totton twice before in cup competitions, both away from home. In 1999, Weston won 2-1 in an FA Cup Preliminary Round tie, before in 2019 The Stags won an FA Trophy fixture by three goals to two at Snows Stadium.

This is Totton’s first-ever season in Step 2, having won the Southern League Premier South play-offs last season after beating Gloucester City 1-0 in the final.

The Stags have made a good start to the season and are currently sixth in the table, and have also knocked Torquay United out of the FA Cup, so yet another tough test awaits The Seagulls this Saturday.
