Weston’s seventh match of the summer sees us host higher-league opposition for the fourth time in the last four weeks, with previous ties against Exeter City, Newport County and Bristol City U21s having come before the Glovers’ arrival.
Sam Pearson, Will Dawes and Louis Britton have all previously played for Yeovil amongst the Weston ranks, and will be looking to finish off their individual pre-season performances with a strong showing against the Somerset side.
Like the Seagulls, Yeovil have also played six friendlies. Mark Cooper’s men have beaten Exmouth Town, Sherborne Town, Chippenham Town and Bath City while they have suffered defeats against Cardiff City U23s and Bristol Rovers. They have also scored in each of their six friendlies thus far.
Weston and Yeovil have had a positive relationship between the two clubs over the past few years, with the likes of Harvey Greenslade joining on loan last campaign and the fixture being a regular occurrence in years gone by.
Our final pre-season match of 2024 saw Yeovil again visit BS24, with goals from Sonny-Blu Lo-Everton and Aaron Jarvis seeing the National League side win 2 – 0 against Scott Bartlett’s men.
Our final test of the summer schedule will hopefully see an entertaining game in front of a large crowd, as our preparations for 2025/2026 continue.

ID Checks
We may ask to see ID at the turnstiles to ensure supporters have purchased the correct type of ticket. This is to ensure fairness for all fans.
If we believe a ticket has been purchased incorrectly or is being misused, we reserve the right to refuse entry and disable a matchday ticket or season ticket without refund.
Parking Information
We have a fair-sized car park at the stadium, with a limited amount of matchday parking available for Blue Badge holders. If a Blue Badge space is required, we recommend arriving as early as possible to secure a spot.
Due to visiting teams typically arriving in cars for pre-season fixtures, the Season Ticket Holders’ Car Park will not be available. However, season ticket holders can still park for free by showing their season ticket at the main car park entrance.
Once the stadium car park is full on matchday, all supporters are asked to park responsibly in the two nearby industrial estates, which are just a 5–10-minute walk from the Optima Stadium. Please do not park in the housing estate opposite the club, as this can cause issues for local residents.
Please note that we are only able to accommodate the official away team coach within the Optima Stadium.
Programmes
Matchday programmes will not be available for any of our pre-season friendlies. However, they will return at the start of the National League South season, where they will be 100% digital and free of charge to all supporters.
