Following the 4-1 defeat at Portishead Town on Friday night, where Will Dawes got himself on the scoresheet, The Seagulls travel to another Southern League Division One South club as they take on Mark Collier’s Melksham side, in what will be another useful exercise ahead of the National League South season.

Melksham were also in action as they made the journey to Yate Town on Saturday in a pre-season friendly, with the match at Lodge Road finishing goalless. Former Weston forward Olly Mehew started for Melksham in that game.

This is Weston’s first-ever visit to Melksham’s relatively new Oakfield Stadium, a ground considered by many to be one of the finest below the National League, and certainly worth a visit this Tuesday night.
